Costs
Tuition Deposit
A $50 non-refundable tuition deposit is collected online at the time of enrollment whenever a student enrolls in a for-credit course (or courses). Each separate transaction (for instance, if an applicant comes back later to enroll in an additional class) is assessed an additional non-refundable deposit. The “extra” deposit does not increase the final costs since it is not a separate fee but a deposit on tuition that would be paid anyway.
Tuition
Tuition for each 1 credit course is $180.
Tuition for each 1.5 credit course is $270.
Tuition for each 2 credit course is $360.
Tuition for each 3 credit course is $540.
Applicants may enroll for up to 7.5 credits, but they are reminded that expectations for summer quarter courses are demanding. No applicant may enroll for more than 7.5 credits during any single summer quarter session.
Retired called workers may audit courses free of charge; tuition costs are waived.
Room and Board
Room and board for all three weeks: $780
For two weeks: $520
For one week: $260
Five noon meals per week are available to commuting students at $45 for one week, $90 for two weeks, or $135 for all three weeks.
Dormitory rooms are assigned on a first come, first served basis. If the dormitory is full, later applicants may have to make their own housing arrangements.
An entire section of the dormitory is reserved for female summer quarter students.
