Registration for Courses On-Site at the Seminary

This year you will have the option of registering for courses using our online tools. To help you transition to this new process, we’ve created this page to guide you through the steps you should take to reserve your courses. You will have the ability to select and pay for courses, meal plans, lodging, and shuttle transportation. All it takes is a few minutes and a valid credit or debit card.

To get started, create your own personal user account here on the Grow in Grace website. Creating an account is a required step and has a number of benefits for you and your pursuit of continuing education. You will be able to keep an updated profile of contact information, manage your registrations and purchases over time, as well as stay up-to-date on opportunities to grow in grace. This process is exactly like what you are accustomed to when you order products from other online stores and services.

To create your account, visit the account creation form, fill it out, and create your account. A confirmation email will be sent to your address. After you have verified that your email address is correct, you will be able to log on to the website. To do so, just follow the instructions that come to your email inbox, or scroll to the bottom of the Grow in Grace website and look for the “log in” link in the footer links.

Now that you’ve got your account and you’re logged in to the website, it’s time to start browsing for and selecting the courses you’d like to take. Visit the course guide for either Summer Quarter or Winterim (links below) and take a look at the schedule. If there’s a course that catches your interest and that fits into your schedule, click its name to see more details. If you’d like to take the course, click the “Add to cart” button that appears in the left sidebar.

Now head back to the course guide and repeat the process if there are any other courses you’d like to take. It probably goes without saying, but please be sure not to book two courses during the same time slot.

Do you need meals or a place to sleep while you take your courses? Now that you’ve got your courses selected and added them to your cart, consider selecting your meal and lodging plans. To do so, just visit the Meal and Lodging page and select your room and board options.

If you are a commuting student and would like a noon meal plan, now would be a good time to reserve your spot. You can always complete this step later, but the Seminary encourages students to take care of this at the same time as course registration to help food service staff be prepared in advance.

You’ve created your account, you’ve selected your courses, and your cart has all the room and board options you need. If you know your travel plans already and need shuttle transportation between the Seminary and the Milwaukee airport (MKE), then you’ll want to reserve a shuttle ride for just $15 each way. Select the number of trips you need and add the item to your cart. Be sure to put your flight information into the box we’ve provided.

If you don’t know your travel plans already, that’s just fine too. You can finish your registration and come back to purchase shuttle transportation when you have your itinerary finalized.

When you’ve got everything you need in your cart, take a look at your cart page. Whenever you’re logged in to the website you’ll find a link to your cart is always located in the secondary links in the header of the website.

Take a look at your cart and make sure everything you want is in there. You can always remove items and continue browsing if you need to. You’ll note that you’re not charged at this time for any of the options you’ve chosen, but the prices are listed so you’ll know what your bill will be. Once you’re happy with the your registration order, click the “Checkout” button to begin finalizing your order. Enter your billing details and credit/debit card number. Click the “Review Order” button to take one last glance at your order. Note that a non-refundable registration fee will be applied to your order. The remainder of your balance will be billed to you through the Seminary’s business office.

To finish your registration and process your payment, click the “Place Order” button. You’ll receive an email with your transaction details automatically.

Tuition Assistance
Students can apply for scholarships for all WLS for credit courses whether taken on-campus, online, or at satellite locations. A special matching grant scholarship is also available in which the seminary will match dollar for dollar all contributions towards tuition made by a student’s calling body. You may fill out your tuition application using our online application form.
