2008 Symposium on the Church

The 2008 Symposium on the Church took place on September 22 & 23. We believe in one, holy, Christian and apostolic Church. We believe the Church is Christ’s own royal priesthood and holy nation, called to declare the praises of him who called us out of darkness into his marvelous light. We believe that the Holy Spirit calls, gathers, enlightens and sanctifies the whole Christian Church on earth and keeps it with Jesus Christ through the ministry of teaching the gospel and administering the sacraments. We believe that this one holy Church will remain forever, militant on earth and triumphant in heaven.
